My Dad (and I) are keen readers of Thesiger, and desert travel, he showed me a magazine article recently and said ‘look, some chap has done Thesigers route by camel’ I said ‘Thats no Chap, IKNOW HIM’. Well done ! I will investigate the documentary. I crossed the Empty Quarter with my dad by vehicle a few years ago, Muscat – Ibre, along the border,then west of Mughshin and down to Salala.- Doing it by camel was just a dream!
So whats next, One of Lawrences great journeys ?
