Adrian Hayes is the British, UAE based, record-breaking adventurer, speaker, corporate coach and sustainability ambassador.

He set a Guinness World Record in 2007 for reaching the Earth’s “3 Poles” – walking all the way to the North Pole, South Pole and summiting Mt Everest – in the then shortest period of time in history. He holds a second Guinness World Record, along with Canadian teammates Devon McDiarmid and Derek Crowe, for the Arctic’s longest unsupported kite-skiing expedition to date, the 2009 vertical crossing of the Greenland ice cap.

A former Airbus Sales Director, Gurkha Officer and Special Forces reservist in the British Army, he is an experienced desert operator and moderate Arabic speaker having served in the deserts of Southern Oman during his military career.

Ghafan Mohammed Al Jabry

Ghafan Mohammed Al Jabry, a UAE National, was born in Al Ain in 1984.

A member of a large family comprising five brothers and seven sisters, a camel handling expert  Ghafan runs a family camel farm with over 300 camels. With a passion for travel and the desert  Ghafan also enjoys running, swimming and hunting.

Saeed Rashed Al Mesafry

Saeed Rashed Al Mesafry was born in Ras Al Khaimah in 1985.

Also from a large family with seven brothers, Saeed attended Zayed University and graduated with a law degree, before joining the UAE Armed Forces.

With exceptional desert knowledge, camel farming has played an integral part in Saeed’s family life since his Grandfather began camel farming a number of years back.

Saeed’s hobbies include camel riding, football and hunting.

    A very good-luck wishing in your expedition as it reminds us with the olden days of Wilfred Thesiger. He passed by our tribe’s village (Mareit) during his travel to Hadhramout via Wadi Gaiz’a in Al-Mahra Land. Hope you would consider this route in your next quest.
